I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
